Duration: 2014.06.01. – 2015.05.31.

The aim of the project was to provide future nurses and social workers an opportunity to complement their professional knowledge gained during vocational training with experience gained in a modern, well-equipped, high-quality environment in an Italian facility.

Students gained an insider’s view on the complex internal structure and operation of a nursing facility and had opportunity to observe the synergistic cooperation of public and private sectors.They gained autonomy, and increase sense of empathy and tolerance through interaction with the patients, also students, developed ability to address complex professional issues and to constantly renew and improve themselves.

According to ERASMUS+ KA1 regulations, a consortium was established consisting of Galileo Progetti Nonprofit Kft. (coordinator), Szigeti-Gyula János Egészségügyi Szakképző Iskola (sender institution) and Betűvadász Bt. (trainer).

The host institution was ARCA Cooperativa Sociale. Students were hosted by nursing homes and social employment facilities operated by ARCA Consortium or one of its members.
